[Težave pri
pošiljanju elektronske pošte]
Če imate težave pri pošiljanju elektronske pošte, npr.
vam ob odgovoru
na vaše sporočilo strežnik javi da je moj elektronski naslov napačen
oziroma da je prišlo do napake pri SMTP komunikaciji, potem je
najverjetneje
problem v nastavitvah
vašega poštnega strežnika.
Poštni strežnik owca.info namreč
preverja
ali je pošiljateljev strežnik postavljen v skladu v skladu s tehničnimi
RFC standardi, med drugim preveri tudi, če je v skladu z
RFC
2821 standardom s poglavjem 3.6, ki zahteva, da se strežnik v SMTP
komunikaciji predstavi
z veljavnim
imenom. Če se vaš strežnik napačno predstavi ali večkrat ni
dosegljiv, owca.info vašo pošto zavrne, saj v tem primeru vaš strežnik
ni postavljen v skladu z RFC standardi in morda sploh ne bi smel biti
vključen v omrežje.
Razlog je v tem, da veliko pošiljateljev nezaželjene elektronske pošte
(spama) ne upošteva RFC standardov. Ob striktnem preverjanju
upoštevanja RFC standardov s strani poštnih strežnikov pošiljateljev,
smo tako uspeli
drastično zmanjšati
količino spama.
Rešitev?
Sistemski administrator
vašega
poštnega strežnika naj si ogleda nastavitve v konfiguracijski
datoteki in jih popravi, da bodo v skladu z RFC standardi. Do takrat pa
mi poiskusite poslati elektronsko pošto preko
spletnega
obrazca.
[Problems
sending e-mail to me?]
If you have troubles sending e-mail to me, i.e. when you send reply to
me, you get an error message stating my e-mail address is wrong or
there is an SMTP communication error,
the
problem is the most likely in your
mail server settings.
Mail server owca.info
always checks
if sender's mail server is RFC compliant. RFC standards describe
technical characteristics of internet communication. You, or your mail
server administrator should pay special attention to
RFC 2821 Chapter 3.6,
which requires that your mail server introduces itself with
a real and valid name. If SMTP
introduction of your mail server is wrong or even untrue, or if your
mail server cannot be accessible (i.e. it is not on-line) owca.info
server rejects your e-mail message. Please note, that all servers
whicha are not RFC compliant should not be connected to the internet at
all.
The reason why owca.info mail server is checking this is that spam
server are mostly non-RFC compliant. By introducing this rule to
owca.info mail server we succeeded to
drastically
reduce the number of spam messages.
How to solve the problem?
System administrator of
your mail
server should carefully check settings of your SMTP server.
